Repair Café at East London Library

New cord with a polarized plug. Replaced the bulb socket (new one takes a tri-light), wound thread round the smaller screw so her original key still turns the switch, enlarged the hole slightly to line it up (minor damage), and fixed the wobble. Tested on 120 V with her LED bulb (Peter).

Needs sewing machine oil to lubricate shaft

Opened it up and pulled out broken blade

Got it working, but now the pump won’t shut off. Fixer took it home to see if he can complete the fix at home.

Cleaned lens, should work but we didn’t have a dvd to test it

Got wrong replacement piece. Will bring the new replacement part to the next repair café.

Proved it charges and every function works with the remote (Scott).

Clean but still keeps skipping. Maybe mechanical issue?

There is continuity throughout. May need new electronics
