About

A trunk sale for tech, tools and anything that plugs in, plus a free e-waste drop-off, hosted outside at Reimagine Co. What's for sale: sellers bring consumer electronics, retro computers, consoles and games, maker hardware, printers, engravers, radios, audio and PA gear, networking and broadcast gear, vintage tech, and DIY electronics and parts. For safety, no CRT tube TVs. Want to sell or trade? It's free, but spots are limited, so please register as a seller here (or email [email protected]) to save one. Bring your own table and canopy. You may be able to borrow a table for a donation. The sale runs in the front lot on the Pall Mall side. If it rains, we'll move inside into the event space. Sellers and visitors should park on the surrounding streets or in the paid lot across the street, not in the event lot. Drop off your e-waste for free any time from Thursday 15 October through Sunday 25 October, during Dilly Dally Café's hours (Thursday 9 to 5, Friday 9 to 6, Saturday and Sunday 10 to 4, closed Monday to Wednesday). This part is run by the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA). They securely wipe or destroy data, and refurbish reusable devices for donation to Canadian charities. Accepted: laptops and computers, docking stations, parts like motherboards and hard drives, keyboards, mice, wires and cables, phones and tablets, gaming consoles, iPods and MP3 players, stereo equipment, printers, fax machines, scanners and copiers, phone systems, CDs and DVDs, servers, software, switches and routers, lab equipment, and disk arrays. Not accepted: personal or household appliances like microwaves, coffee makers, toothbrushes and razors, large appliances, hazardous waste, or anything with mercury. Please remove your personal data before dropping off a device. Hosted by Reimagine Co and Scott Bruder (ScottB.ca), with the Electronic Recycling Association, the Thames Region Ecological Association (TREA), Dilly Dally Café and the Institute for Community Sustainability, who run the London Repair Café.
