Repair Café at Landon Library (Wortley)

I learned about bussing with Voyageur for people with disabilities. I'll look them up!

I watched Shatha fix everything and it was very impressive.

I learned that I should not try to hypothesize what the problem is because I was wrong and would have made a much bigger mess.

When I bring my stuff here, it works, and at home, it doesn't work.

I learned more about the stand mixer and how I can avoid jamming it in the future. I also learned about the repair cafe and am pleased I am.

I learned not to fuss with it because he worked really hard to make sure it fits right. The issue wasn't the base, it was the switch.

I learned maybe the staples I was using weren't the most appropriate.

I learned you can crimp something in the toaster to fix it.

It was a reminder/refresher of what I learned in grade 8.

Don wants to take him home with him and I'll get it at a later date. Needs a new fuse and he doesn't have it on him.

I learned a lot about the brake and the derailer about how to attach them. How to properly take off the rear wheel.

Got some tips on what we could do at home so we're better off than we were.

Needs another part. Will find and come back

Rob and Paul worked on them an now we know what the issue is and they told me the parts we would need so I can come back.

BE more specific about what needs repairing

Unrepairable. Broken piece of plastic that cannot be repaired. So minute that it wouldn't work.

Adam tried to make a part but it broke so the only option I have is to see if Sodastream has the part but it's unlikely. Will be coming to the next event.

I learned a lot. I need more tools, for example.
